Free tool · No signup · Runs in your browser
Find local businesses that have no website.
Pick a city and a trade: plumber, barber, bakery, dentist. A free search checks the first page of Google Maps results, up to 20 businesses, and lists the ones with no website on their listing, with address, phone, rating and review count. Most searches turn up a few and some turn up none. A free Prospea account scans the whole city, not just the first page.

Real Google data
From the Google Places API, the same data behind Google Maps. Chains and franchises are filtered out. A repeat search may come from a recent cache, and says so when it does.
One page of Google Maps
Each search reads the first page of results, up to 20 businesses, and lists up to 10 with no website on their listing. Expect a few, sometimes none.
Free with hard caps
15 searches per hour, plus a shared daily cap. A free account raises that to 60 an hour and scans the whole city.
Frequently asked
Is this tool really free?
Yes. 15 searches per hour, no signup, no credit card. We rate-limit to keep the Google bill bounded; a free account raises the limit to 60 searches an hour.
Where does the data come from?
Google Places, the same data behind Google Maps. Each search reads the first page of results for your trade in your city, up to 20 businesses, filters out chains and franchises, and lists up to 10 that have no website on their listing.
How many businesses without a website will I find?
Usually a few, sometimes none. One page of Google Maps is at most 20 businesses, and in crowded trades most of them already have a site. In our search history, trades such as mechanics, barbers, bakeries, plumbers and electricians turn up more gaps than restaurants, gyms or law firms. If a search comes back empty, try another trade or a smaller nearby town.
Does "no website" mean the business has no site at all?
It means their Google listing has no website on it. Some of these businesses have a Facebook page or a site Google does not know about, so look them up before you pitch. The ones that truly have nothing are the easiest conversation: you are offering something they visibly lack.
Why are no-website businesses good prospects for web designers?
They are already on Google Maps with reviews and a phone number, so customers are looking for them, but anyone who wants more than a phone number has nowhere to go. The gap is visible to the owner the moment you point it out, which makes it an easier first email than critiquing a site they paid for.
Can I export the list?
Copy any result with one click, or download the first 3 as a CSV without signing up. The full CSV comes with a free account, which also scans the whole city and looks up owner emails.
Run it at scale
Scan the whole city, not one page.
